New Season!
The 2008-09 Lake Region Skating Club season will
officially start on Sunday, October 5, 2008. On this
day, there will be open skating
for all Family Skating Members from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. No formal lessons will be
given this day. A Learn to Skate Lesson Schedule will be posted on
the board at the arena.
New Coaches. Jim Darlow is our new Head
Coach/Director and Sami Hahn is the Assistant Coach. Welcome
aboard.
Synchronized Skating Tryouts. There will be
synchronized skating tryouts on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 6:00pm at the
Burdick Arena.
Individual Competitors and/or Testers. All individuals
who plan to compete and/or test this year are requested to stop by
the Burdick Arena from 3:00pm - 6:00pm on Sunday, October 5, during Family
Skating to meet individually with Coach Jim. A parent is also required to
attend the meeting.
Registration. If you are a past skating club member
who hasn't registered yet this year or a new family interesting joining
the skating club, there will be registration at the Burdick Arena on
Sunday, October 5th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
