Board Members Present: Sarah Yager, Kathy Klemetsrud, Sandy Hunter, Alicia Ehnert, Susan Estenson, Mark Estenson, Kris Thompson

Absent: Sara Thompson, Wendy Palmer

Mark called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm

Coaches Report: N/A

Treasurer’s Report: Alicia gave treasurer’s report.

- The endowment fund was explained to the attending families. The endowment is currently approximately $170,000. The club can use ONLY the interest from the fund which can only be used for coaching fees.

- This year’s ice bill is approximately $12,000

- Coaching fees for the year are approximately $18-20,000.

- We paid $860 for early ice this year – ONE week.

- The club earned $1200 for the wreath fundraiser, $1400 for the Butter Braid fundraiser and $2300 for the Proz Pizza fundraiser. Total $6500 raised.

- The club earned $852 for the Holiday Show.

Secretary’s Report: N/A

· Mark thanked all of the families that participated in fundraising this year as well as donated to the endowment fund.

· Mark introduced Board members to the families attending.

· Kathy, Susan and Sara T. are up for re-election this year. No other nominations were made for election to the board. Motion by Mark to re-elect Kathy, Susan and Sara T.; 2^nd by Julie Schlieve. Motion carried.

· Mark discussed the upcoming Ice Show and asked for volunteers to help with various tasks. A sign-up sheet has been posted on the LRSC board.

· Mark suggested that members check emails frequently in the upcoming weeks. If members are not receiving emails, please check with Kathy Klemetsrud.

· LuAnne Krein asked if there will be summer ice this year. We are still unsure if summer ice will be available and unsure if the club will have enough participation to justify summer ice.

· Motion by Mark to adjourn at 4:15 pm; 2^nd by Kris. Motion Carried.
