Board Meeting Minutes

December 2, 2009

Members Present: Mark Estenson, Sarah Yager, Kathy Klemetsrud, Sandy Hunter, Alicia Ehnert, Kris Thompson, Wendy Palmer, Susan Estenson

Mark called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm

Coaches Report: N/A

Treasurer’s Report: Alicia gave treasurer’s report.

Old Business:

• Discussion held regarding fundraisers. Kathy will contact Valley City.

New Business:

• Mallory Olson has requested private ice time. The board agreed that we can provide her with a pro-rated rate for ice time for the remainder of the season. The board agreed that she would be allowed ice time after payment is received. Motion made by Mark Estenson; seconded by Alicia Ehnert. Motion carried.
• The board discussed allowing ice time for extended family members. With the holiday season approaching club members have been wondering if ice time could be purchased for visiting family and friends. Mark made a motion to table discussion until next season so that more details could be worked out regarding price, waivers, requirements, etc.; seconded by Sarah Yager. Motion carried to table discussion at this time.

Holiday Ice Show:

- The Board will ask for volunteers to make baked-goods for the show.

- Kris and Sarah will work at the front door.

- Board members are asked to arrive at 12 noon to put up Christmas decorations

- Dawn Johnson has volunteered to take pictures at the show. She has offered to donate proceeds of the pictures to the club. Thank you Dawn!

Next Meeting: tentatively scheduled for December 16^th or 17^th, 2009
